Two-year diploma in a Health Sciences field or related field
Two years of recent practical experience in the field of nursing or health administration and records
Demonstrated understanding of medical terminology and all clinical requirements for students from health care agencies
Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize and work on multiple tasks simultaneously
Sound judgement and problem-solving skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Ability to gather information, analyze, evaluate, formulate, and recommend appropriate course of action
Demonstrated high level of proficiency with computer applications including but not limited to Microsoft Office 365: Outlook, Word, Excel, SharePoint, and MS Teams
In-person, on-site position; must be able to reliably commute and/or relocate to North Bay, ON
Responsibilities:
Responsible for the coordination of student clinical placements within a small team environment
Responsible to validate all student documentation required for clinical placements
Act as the central coordinator and main contact for all community partners for clinical placements
Liaise with Program Faculty, Support Staff, Agencies, and Students for coordinating placements
Communicate logistics to concerned parties pertaining to clinical placements
