Reporting to the Director of Enrolment Management, the Conversion Communications Coordinator (CCC) is responsible for implementing and monitoring communications aimed exclusively at converting domestic applicants into enrolled students. Working in close collaboration with the recruitment, admissions, and marketing teams, the incumbent ensures all messaging is executed in a compelling, personalized, timely, and relevant manner. This role uses tools such as email, phone calls, and customer relationship management software to track performance, influence applicant decision-making, and support enrolment goals.

What you'll be doing:

Develop and deploy targeted communications: execute personalized, timely, and relevant messaging to domestic applicants using email, phone, and other approved channels to support conversion from applicant to enrolled student. Collaborate across teams: work closely with recruitment, admissions, and marketing teams to align messaging with enrolment goals and ensure a consistent applicant experience. Monitor communication performance: track, analyze, and report on communication effectiveness by using data from Banner, Envoke, and other reporting tools to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for improvement. Optimize applicant engagement: apply best practices in content execution to influence applicant decision-making, reduce attrition, and enhance the applicant journey. Follow best practices for recordkeeping: ensure all applicant interactions and outcomes are accurately documented to support coordinated follow-up and informed decision-making.

Other duties as assigned.

What you'll bring to the role:

Minimum 3-year diploma/degree or certificate in marketing, public relations, advertising, social media, or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Minimum 3 years of relevant experience is required with a foundational understanding of enrolment management, data analysis, and strategic communications within a postsecondary or similarly complex environment. Ability to work independently, synthesize large datasets, and make informed recommendations that impact cross-departmental processes. Experience with navigating institutional systems (e.g., CRM and Envoke platforms, applicant databases), engaging effectively with diverse stakeholders, and applying sound judgment in aligning communications with strategic enrolment goals. Demonstrated commitment and understanding of human rights, equity, diversity, inclusion, and accessibility. The ability to communicate and work effectively with diverse students, employees, and communities.
