Responsibilities

Surface preparation:

Remove old wallpaper, fill holes, sand or smooth walls, and apply primer or sizing to ensure proper adhesion.

Measuring and cutting:

Accurately measure surfaces and cut wallpaper to the correct size, paying close attention to pattern matching.

Installation:

Apply adhesive (paste or pre-pasted) to the wallpaper or wall and hang it, smoothing out any bubbles or wrinkles as you go.

Finishing:

Trim excess wallpaper at ceilings, floors, and corners for a clean and professional look.

Client relations:

Work with General Manager to understand their vision, and expectations.

Maintenance:

Keep tools clean and in good working order, and maintain a clean and safe workspace.
Skills and requirements

Attention to detail:

A high level of precision is required for flawless installation and pattern matching.

Manual dexterity:

Strong ability to use tools and work with materials to achieve a smooth and seamless finish.

Math skills:

Needed for calculating and measuring areas.

Physical stamina:

The job can involve working at various heights, and sometimes carrying equipment, which requires physical fitness.

Customer service:

Ability to communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs.

Problem-solving:

Capability to identify and solve problems that may arise during installation.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00-$22.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 44 per week
