Receptionist Job Duties
Greet clients and create a welcoming, professional front-desk environment
Answer phone calls and respond to emails and in-person inquiries
Schedule, modify, and manage appointments based on urgency and hospital capacity
Interpret client concerns to book appropriate appointment types
Coordinate daily workflow with the medical team to support smooth operations
Manage appointment confirmations, callbacks, wait lists, and follow-up communication
Check clients in and out and process payments accurately
Prepare, finalize, and adjust invoices as needed
Maintain accurate and up-to-date client and patient records
Handle prescription refill requests and communicate them to the veterinary team
Monitor and manage hospital email, voicemail, and incoming messages
Perform data entry, filing, and general administrative tasks
Maintain a clean, organized, and professional reception area
Support patient flow by communicating effectively with all departments
Prioritize tasks and remain adaptable during busy periods
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
