Duties

Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences. Operate the POS system, including Micros POS, to process orders accurately and efficiently. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces. Provide excellent customer service by engaging with patrons, taking orders, and responding to inquiries. Ensure compliance with food safety standards and regulations in all aspects of food handling and service. Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and basic math calculations for payments. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food items when applicable. Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels and reporting any shortages or discrepancies.

Qualifications

Previous experience in the restaurant or food industry is preferred, particularly in a bartending role. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests. Familiarity with POS systems, especially Micros POS, is a plus. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy periods. Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques. Basic math skills for cash handling and processing transactions accurately.
