Job Description

Experienced Real Estate Legal Assistant/ParalegalOpportunity to work with a sole practitioner in a bright, informal downtown Edmonton office. The office is quiet, but the work is fast-paced and not overwhelming.Minimum 2 years experience required with real estate conveyancing.You will be joining a team that is happy, organized, technology-driven, and client service focused.You must:

  • Minimum 2 years experience and able to handle a file from start to finish
  • Be open to change ie. other ways of preparing documents, workflows
  • Familiar with Adobe and Microsoft office including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams
And the usual qualities required:
  • Ability to multi-task and work under pressure with tight deadlines
  • Good at math
  • Punctual, reliable
  • Detail-oriented
  • Be able to work independently
  • Highly organized with good time management skills
  • Ability to take initiative
  • Strong verbal and written English
