We are seeking skilled
Production Machine Operators
who take pride in going above and beyond to make a positive difference in the health, safety, and well-being of our employees, partners, and communities--both locally and globally. The ideal candidate can be described as:
5+ years of experience
operating production equipment in a food manufacturing or comparable environment
Strong mechanical aptitude
and hands-on experience with machinery
Ability to troubleshoot
equipment and perform basic adjustments or minor repairs
Familiarity with blow molding equipment and/or filling lines is considered an asset
Dependable individual with a positive outlook and a team-first mindset
Committed to meeting all regulatory standards and compliance requirements
Follows company guidelines, policies, and operating procedures with consistency
Focused on hitting production goals while upholding superior quality standards
Dependable attendance and punctuality
Open to learning and following instructions
Has access to reliable transportation (public transit may not be available during shift hours)
Legally eligible to work in Canada
Strong English communication skills (spoken and written)
What You'll Do
Operate filling machines (liquids and/or salts), ensuring peak performance and efficiency
Identify and resolve machine issues or safety concerns; complete basic repairs and programming adjustments while escalating complex problems to the Shift Supervisor
Support the upkeep and maintenance of the full production line
Assist in staging raw materials for production and confirm material availability prior to start-up
Ensure packaging guidelines are followed and correct raw materials are used per the Work Order
Work toward achieving daily production targets
Record downtime reasons and hours lost; notify the Shift Supervisor if downtime exceeds 15 minutes so corrective action can be taken quickly
Perform required weight checks, and document lot numbers and expiry dates according to Quality Department requirements
Ensure accuracy of all production records and paperwork
Submit completed Work Orders promptly
Verify finished products meet customer quality expectations (tight caps, centered labels, correct weights, accurate lot numbers/expiry dates, etc.)
Maintain cleanliness and organization of production lines and surrounding areas (Label Room, Sanitation Room, etc.), including ensuring aisles remain clear and disposing of garbage/cardboard
Follow all safety protocols and wear appropriate protective and hygienic gear
Adhere to all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
Carry out line setups and product changeovers as needed
Perform rework or re-cooping tasks on non-conforming product
Return leftover raw materials to proper storage areas at the end of production runs
Complete product formulations when required
Help maintain warehouse organization, including sweeping floors, wrapping pallets, and palletizing finished goods
Support warehouse operations by retrieving and returning raw materials for storage
Perform any other duties as assigned
Secondary Duties
Assist with maintaining production at any workstation on the line, which may include:
Feeding and properly spacing containers onto the line
Sealing containers
Packing finished goods
Assembling cartons
Labeling or assisting with label/tape changes
Moving finished pallets into Post-Production Hold Area
Updating codes on coders
Physical Requirements
Ability to remain standing for extended periods
Must be able to lift, push, or pull up to 25 lbs
