The Pharmacy Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the pharmacy department, ensuring the safe and effective delivery of pharmaceutical care to patients. Responsibilities
Supervise and manage pharmacy staff, including pharmacists and pharmacy technicians.
Ensure compliance with all federal and state regulations regarding medication dispensing and pharmacy operations.
Oversee medication administration processes to ensure accuracy and safety.
Collaborate with healthcare providers to develop and implement patient care plans.
Conduct medication therapy management and patient counseling to enhance therapeutic outcomes.
Maintain accurate records of medications dispensed, inventory levels, and controlled substances.
Provide training and continuing education for pharmacy staff on best practices and new medications.
Monitor pharmacy operations for quality assurance and implement improvements as necessary.
