We are seeking a skilled and passionate Pastry Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and a keen eye for detail, particularly in cake decorating and pastry presentation. Duties
Prepare and bake a variety of pastries, cakes, and desserts according to established recipes and presentation standards.
Decorate cakes and pastries with artistic flair, ensuring visual appeal and adherence to customer specifications.
Package baked goods for display or delivery, maintaining quality and freshness.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely production of all pastry items for service.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pastry station, adhering to food safety and handling guidelines.
Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, assisting with ordering as needed.
Stay updated on industry trends and techniques to continually enhance skills and offerings.
Experience
Proven experience as a Pastry Cook or in a similar role within the food industry is preferred.
Strong knowledge of cake decorating techniques and food preparation methods.
Familiarity with kitchen equipment and tools used in baking.
Understanding of food safety regulations and best practices in food handling.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high-quality standards.
