Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team. The candidate will have 2+ experience in both interior and exterior residential painting, with a strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work. This role involves preparing surfaces, applying paint, and ensuring that all projects meet our high standards of quality and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and filling holes or imperfections. Apply paint using a brush, roller, or sprayer. Read and interpret work orders and specifications to follow the scope of work. Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively in the painting process. Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide exceptional customer service. Collaborate with other construction professionals to ensure project timelines are met. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols at all times. Perform touch-ups and repairs as needed to ensure the highest quality finish. Willing/able to work indoors, outdoors, on a ladder and around odours Attention to detail, hand-eye co-ordination Frequent bending, crouching, kneeling, repetitive work Able to lift 50lbs

Qualifications

Proven experience in residential painting or construction painting. Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools relevant to the painting profession. Ability to follow instructions accurately. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members. Excellent attention to detail with a focus on delivering high-quality results. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in various environments.

Terms:

-Full and part-time available (please specify your preference)

-1 half Saturday work a month

-Occasional overtime, evening, and out-of-town work (Bonuses paid for out of town work)

-6 month probation

-Starting pay will be based on a painting skills assessment (and increases based on a regular assessments)
