Prairie Boy Painting is a locally owned and operated family business with over 25 years experience. We have been serving the South Calgary, Okotoks and Foothills areas since 2000 and have had many repeat customers and referrals. Having professionally painted hundreds of homes, our customers trust us to exceed their expectations. We are looking for an experienced painter to join our team to help us continue to bring the best possible service and quality to all of our jobs.

The ideal candidate will be someone who can deliver exceptional customer service to all of our customers. We are looking for someone we can really count on - that person needs to be reliable, detail oriented, punctual and efficient, with at least 5 years of experience as a painter, including knowledge of spraying and the maintenance of sprayers. Competitive pay will be offered; the exact amount will depend on the painter's experience.

Responsibilities

Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and filling holes or imperfections. Apply paint, stain, or coatings using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment. Utilize caulking techniques to seal joints and gaps for a finished look. Repair drywall as needed before painting to ensure smooth surfaces. Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively. Restore surfaces by applying appropriate finishes that meet client expectations. Manage time efficiently to meet project deadlines while maintaining quality standards. Collaborate with team members to ensure project completion according to specifications.

Skills

Proficient in painting techniques and materials. Experience with caulking and drywall repair. Familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in painting tasks. Ability to restore surfaces with attention to detail and focus on quality. Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively. Strong communication skills for collaboration with team members. Reliable, customer service oriented, punctual and efficient.
