Our dynamic, friendly team at Ponoka Eyecare is currently looking for a reliable and outgoing team member with optical experience.

We are currently looking for an experienced Optician or Optometric assistant who can work Monday through Friday. Responsibilities will include helping patients with frame and lens selection, contact lens training, adjusting and repairing glasses, performing additional testing for the Optometrist, booking appointments, running health insurance and taking payments.

The ideal candidate would possess:
- Excellent communication skills, both in person and over the telephone
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent attention to detail
- The ability to keep calm and thrive in a fast paced environment
- A professional appearance and demeanor
- Have an understanding of the workings of an optical dispensary/optometric office.

Starting wage is dependent on experience.
