We are looking for Experienced Millwork DrafterDetailers to join our growing team. If you excel at detailed millwork drafting and enjoy transforming architectural concepts into accurate, production-ready drawings, this is an excellent opportunity to work on high-quality, custom projects.

In this role, you will create detailed drawings for wall paneling, cabinetry, moldings, doors, and other architectural millwork using AutoCAD and supporting Microvellum programming. You'll work closely with Project Managers, Programmers, and the Shop team to ensure each project is accurate, buildable, and delivered on time.

Key Responsibilities



Produce complete and accurate millwork drawings, including details, dimensions, hardware specifications, cut lists, flat layouts, and sequence drawings. Interpret architectural drawings, site measurements, and photos to create precise millwork details. Use AutoCAD (2D/3D) and support Microvellum production workflows. Maintain organized notes, documentation, and ERP updates to keep projects aligned and on track. Revise redlines and ensure accuracy before submitting drawings. Prepare Bills of Materials (BOMs) and identify appropriate materials and hardware for each project. Collaborate with internal teams to deliver drawings efficiently, on budget, and on schedule.

Required Skills & Qualifications



5+ years of experience in architectural millwork drafting/detailing (REQUIRED)

5+ years of AutoCAD experience (required) Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings Knowledge of hardware, joinery, dowels, dados, and common millwork assembly methods Strong attention to detail and accuracy Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) Able to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines Proficient with Microsoft Excel (advanced preferred) Knowledge of standard drafting practices and millwork construction Ability to create sketches, layout drawings, and technical specifications

Additional Assets



Microvellum, SolidWorks or SWOOD experience Carpentry or cabinetmaking hands on experience Manufacturing and/or machining experience Understanding of AWMAC standards
