Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Locksmith to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of lock mechanisms, key cutting, and security systems. As a Locksmith, you will be responsible for providing high-quality locksmith services to our clients, ensuring their safety and security through expert installation, repair, and maintenance of locks and security systems. Tools and service vehicle provided.

Responsibilities

Install, repair, and maintain various types of locks and locking mechanisms for residential, commercial, and automotive applications. Respond promptly to emergency lockout situations and provide effective solutions. Cut keys using key cutting machines. Assess security needs and recommend appropriate locking systems or upgrades to clients. Perform routine maintenance on locks and security systems to ensure optimal functionality. Keep accurate records of work performed, including services rendered and materials used. Stay updated on the latest locksmithing techniques, tools, and technologies. Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns professionally.

Requirements

Proven 3-5 years experience as a Locksmith or in a similar role is required. Strong knowledge of lock types, key cutting techniques, and security systems. Ability to troubleshoot lock issues effectively and provide timely solutions. Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Experience opening and repairing safes is an asset. Strong communication skills to interact with clients effectively. Strong verbal and writing skills in English required. Valid class 5 driver's license. Willingness to learn is essential. Clean criminal record. Must be able to pass background checks as required by company policies. Must be available for occasional out of town work.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From $26.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 50 per week
