We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a strong understanding of kitchen operations. As a Line Cook, you will play a vital role in preparing high-quality meals while ensuring food safety and cleanliness standards are met. Duties
Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and restaurant standards
Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner to meet service requirements
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstations
Follow food safety guidelines and proper food handling procedures
Assist with inventory management and stock rotation
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation during service
Participate in meal preparation for special events or catering as needed
Contribute to menu development by providing input on new dishes or improvements
Qualifications
Previous experience in a restaurant or kitchen setting is preferred
Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods
Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in food handling
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high-quality standards
Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively in a busy environment
