The Role

We are seeking an experienced and reliable

Line Cook

to join our Norseman team. The ideal candidate will have strong sandwich-making experience, be comfortable working in a high-volume production environment, and be confident interacting with guests in a friendly and professional manner.

This is a hands-on, customer-facing position where you'll help ensure consistent quality, efficient service, and a welcoming atmosphere for our guests.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and assemble sandwiches, soups, pasta, and other menu items to company standards. Work efficiently in a high-volume kitchen environment while maintaining attention to detail. Interact with guests in a friendly and professional manner, ensuring a positive experience. Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation at all times. Assist with prep, restocking, and production as needed. Communicate effectively with team members and chefs to ensure smooth service. Follow all food safety and handling procedures.

Qualifications

1-2 years of experience working in a fast-paced kitchen or cafe environment. Experience with sandwich preparation is a strong asset. Ability to work efficiently in high-volume production while maintaining quality. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Open availability, including weekends. Food Handler's Certification (preferred). Positive attitude and a passion for great food.
