We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. As a Line Cook at Turtle Jacks Mapleview , you will play a vital role in ensuring that our kitchen operates smoothly and efficiently while delivering exceptional dishes to our guests.
Responsibilities
Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
Ensure food safety and sanitation practices are followed at all times.
Assist in meal preparation, including chopping, slicing, and cooking ingredients.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including workstations and equipment.
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
Monitor food inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
Follow proper food handling procedures to minimize waste and ensure quality.
Help train new kitchen staff on cooking techniques and safety protocols.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a cook in the food industry or restaurant setting is preferred.
Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices for food handling.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a team.
Familiarity with various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures.

Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
