Overview

We are seeking a

highly

skilled

LEAD Framer

to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have a

strong background

in carpentry and experience with various framing techniques in residential and commercial environments. As a Framer, you will be responsible for constructing the framework of buildings, ensuring that all structures are built to specifications and meet quality standards. This role requires proficiency in reading blueprints and schematics, as well as the ability to operate power tools and heavy equipment safely. Preference for a Lead Framer with

supervisory experience

to join our team.

Responsibilities

Construct and install building frameworks, including walls, floors, roof trusses Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine project specifications Utilize power tools and heavy equipment for cutting, shaping, and assembling materials Perform concrete finishing tasks as needed for foundation work Install all required materials to complete the building envelope Ensure all work is performed in compliance with safety regulations and quality standards, strong knowledge of current standards required at interviewing. Collaborate with other construction team members to complete projects on time Conduct regular inspections of completed work to ensure structural integrity Ensure self-understanding and adherence; as well as lead team members to adhere to DTL's quality of work, safety standards and efficiency. Lead crew members.

Experience

Proven experience as a Framer or Carpenter in residential or commercial construction (8+ years) Strong knowledge of building codes and safety regulations Proficiency in blueprint reading and understanding schematics Experience with power tools, heavy equipment operation, and concrete finishing techniques Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks associated with construction work Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team environment
