Canuck Trailers is seeking an

Experienced Labourer

to join our team building and finishing

custom enclosed trailers

. This role is ideal for someone with strong hands-on skills and experience in fabrication, construction, or manufacturing environments. You will take part in all stages of trailer assembly, from structural work to interior finishing.

Key Responsibilities

Assemble and finish custom enclosed trailers from start to completion Install walls, floors, ceilings, doors, trim, and hardware Perform interior finishing work (plywood, aluminum, fasteners, sealants) Assist with electrical installs (lighting, wiring, batteries) as required Assist with basic plumbing installs (water tanks, pumps, lines, fixtures) when applicable Use power tools, hand tools, and shop equipment safely and efficiently Read measurements, layouts, and build specifications Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area Work with team members to meet production deadlines Identify and report material or build issues
Qualifications & Experience

2+ years experience

in construction, trailer manufacturing, carpentry, metal work, or a related trade Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills Comfortable using power tools and shop equipment Ability to measure accurately and follow build instructions Physically capable of lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented Able to work independently and as part of a team
Bonus Skills (Assets)

Electrical experience

Plumbing experience (fresh water systems, pumps, tanks, drains)

Welding or metal fabrication experience Experience building or repairing trailers Forklift or shop equipment experience
