Job (s) Overview

As a Plumber and Gas Fitter, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems and gas lines in residential, commercial, and industrial settings. You will ensure all work is compliant with local plumbing and gas codes and regulations while providing high-quality service to our clients.

Duties

Install and maintain gas appliances, systems, and connections. Perform safety inspections and ensure compliance with local codes and standards. Collaborate with clients and team members to deliver exceptional service. Provide routine maintenance and emergency repairs as needed. Maintain accurate records of all work performed and materials used. Read blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine layout of plumbing, water supply network and waste and drainage systems Measure, cut, bend and thread pipes using hand and power tools and machines Join pipes using couplings, clamp, screws, bolts, cement or soldering equipment Test pipes for leaks using air and water pressure gauges Measure and mark reference points for installation of gas lines and equipment Convert appliances to use natural gas fuels Test and adjust control mechanisms and check pipes and piping connections for gas leaks using gas detecting devices.

Qualifications

Valid Plumber and Gas Fitter license

Proven experience.

Strong knowledge of gas systems, and relevant codes.

Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Strong communication and customer service skills. .
