Who are we?

Chu Cho Industries LP. (CCI) is a resource and heavy construction company that works primarily within the forestry, mining, and transportation industries. CCI specializes in timber harvesting, transportation, resource road construction, road maintenance and operation of resource camps. CCI is based in Mackenzie BC and most works are completed within the Mackenzie TSA. CCI operates two industrial properties in Mackenzie which include an 1800 sq. ft. shop on a 5-acre lot and a modern 10,000 sq. ft. shop and office complex on a 10-acre lot. Administration, accounting, and management for CCI is based in Prince George BC.

Chu Cho Industries LP (CCI) is currently recruiting for an experienced and qualified Excavator Operator to work in remote areas in various terrains and conditions. We are looking for a candidate who has specific relevant experience in operating an excavator to complete a forestry road deactivation .

Requirements:

Remote camp work. 2 weeks on, 1 weeks off shift based on 10-12 hour days (subject to change dependent on the project's scope of work) Steep slope excavator experience is required Minimum of 5 years' relevant experience Valid BC Class 5 drivers license Clean drivers abstract Punctual, committed to being on time for every shift Can safely and skillfully operate equipment Can follow instruction and work well with other employees, displays a "team player" attitude Must have a desire to show up for work consistently Able to work comfortably and maintain high levels of performance during 12-hour shift
