Waiward Construction Management is a heavy civil construction company specializing in large-scale earthworks and industrial projects. We are currently seeking an

Experienced Excavator Operator

to join our team.

Responsibilities:

Operate excavators safely and efficiently on heavy civil construction projects. Perform excavation, trenching, grading, and backfilling according to project specifications. Utilize GPS machine control systems for precise excavation and grading. Conduct daily equipment inspections and basic maintenance. Work closely with site supervisors and crew to ensure safe and productive operations. Follow all company safety policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

Minimum

5 years of experience

operating excavators in heavy civil construction. GPS machine control experience required

.

Strong knowledge of excavation techniques, ground conditions, and safe operating practices. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Valid operator's license/tickets and a clean driving record. CSTS/OSSA or other safety certifications considered an asset.
