We are seeking a reliable and professional Delivery Driver/ Shipper/ Receiver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently to various locations, ensuring timely deliveries and maintaining excellent customer service. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, supporting the smooth operation of our logistics network. A valid driver's licence and previous delivery or commercial driving experience are essential for this position.

Responsibilities

Safely operate company vehicles, including vans, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations. Deliver goods to clients and customers across designated routes within specified timeframes. Load and unload items, often requiring heavy lifting and manual handling. Ensure accurate documentation of deliveries, including obtaining signatures and completing delivery logs. Maintain the cleanliness and routine maintenance of the vehicle. Communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients, and team members regarding delivery schedules or issues. Report any vehicle maintenance needs or accidents promptly to management. Follow health and safety protocols at all times during deliveries.

Skills

Proven experience as a delivery driver or in commercial driving roles. Valid driver's licence with a clean driving record; Experience working in warehouse environments or handling heavy lifting is advantageous. Strong communication skills to interact professionally with customers and team members. Good organisational skills to manage routes efficiently and meet deadlines. Ability to operate various types of vehicles safely and responsibly. Physical fitness for manual handling tasks involved in loading and unloading goods. This role is ideal for individuals who are organised, dependable, and possess excellent driving skills, committed to providing outstanding service while maintaining safety standards at all times.
Logistics experience in the trucking industry would be an asset.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00-$24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 42.5 per week
