We are seeking an experienced Cook/Chefs to join our kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation, strong culinary skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
Minimum 2 years of professional cooking experience
in a restaurant or commercial kitchen environment
Culinary school diploma or equivalent professional experience preferred
Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices (Food Handler's certification required)
Excellent knife skills and proficiency with kitchen equipment
Ability to work efficiently under pressure during peak service hours
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Ability to follow recipes and plating specifications consistently
Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
Team player with excellent communication skills
Responsibilities
Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards
Maintain clean and organized work station throughout service
Ensure all food is prepared safely and meets quality standards
Assist with prep work, including chopping vegetables, marinating proteins, and preparing sauces
Monitor food inventory and communicate needs to kitchen management
Follow all health department regulations and restaurant policies
Collaborate effectively with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth service
Assist with opening and closing duties as assigned
