We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a strong understanding of meal preparation and food safety standards. As a Cook, you will play a vital role in creating delicious meals that meet our high standards of quality and presentation. You will work in a fast-paced kitchen environment, collaborating with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient service and customer satisfaction.

Duties

Prepare and cook a variety of meals according to established recipes and menu specifications. Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with food safety regulations and standards. Assist in the planning of menus, taking into account dietary restrictions and preferences. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including proper food storage practices. Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, reporting any shortages to management. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal service during peak hours. Help train new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety protocols. Stay updated on current food trends and techniques to enhance menu offerings.

Qualifications

Previous experience in the food industry, particularly in restaurant or food service settings, is preferred. Strong knowledge of meal preparation techniques and food handling practices. Familiarity with kitchen equipment and tools used in cooking processes. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff. A commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organization in the kitchen. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.

Pay: $18.00-$22.50 per hour
