Future East Coast Contracting Limited - HRM & Surrounding Areas

Future East Coast Contracting Limited is a growing construction company providing high-quality residential and commercial services in the Halifax Regional Municipality and surrounding communities. We are looking for experienced contractors/carpenters to join our team.

Responsibilities:

Install and remove windows and doors to manufacturer specifications. Perform siding installation/removal (vinyl, wood, or composite). Build and repair decks, railings, and exterior structures. Read and follow drawings, safety policies, and jobsite procedures. Maintain safe, efficient, and professional work practices.
Requirements:

Minimum 2 years experience in construction (windows, doors, siding, decks). Valid First Aid certification. Fall Protection training (or willing to get it ASAP)(required under Nova Scotia OHS regulations). Knowledge of safe work practices and compliance with safety plans. Must have own vehicle and ability to travel to various job sites within HRM and surrounding areas. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Tools and PPE (steel-toe boots).
Assets (not required but considered an advantage):

WHMIS certification. Previous experience with excavation or framing. Ability to supervise apprentices or helpers.

Employment Type: Subcontract or full-time (depending on applicant)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00-$40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 40 per week
