We are seeking an
Experienced Carpenter
to join our growing team--someone who takes pride in their work, communicates well with others, and understands the importance of both efficiency and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform
framing, finishing, and general carpentry
on residential and light commercial projects.
Read and interpret
blueprints, drawings, and specifications
to determine layout and installation requirements.
Measure, cut, assemble, and install building materials such as wood, steel, and engineered products.
Collaborate closely with site supervisors, apprentices, and subtrades to maintain workflow and quality.
Ensure work is performed in accordance with
BC Building Code
, safety regulations, and project timelines.
Assist in
site layout, demolition, installation of windows/doors, siding, decks, and interior finishes
.
Maintain a clean and organized work area and contribute to a safe job site environment.
Qualifications & Experience:
Minimum 5-10 years of carpentry experience
in residential or commercial construction.
Proven ability to complete framing, finishing, and renovation work with minimal supervision.
Ability to
read and interpret construction drawings
accurately.
Strong understanding of
building envelope and structural systems
.
Valid
driver's license and reliable vehicle
(required).
Red Seal certification
or equivalent experience preferred.
Own basic tools and PPE.
Professional attitude and strong work ethic.
