Job Summary
The ideal candidate will be responsible for a variety of tasks essential to the daily operations of our beef feedlots located in Dufferin County.
The feedlot manager is responsible for the overseeing of daily feedlot operations and ensuring cattle overall well being. This includes, monitoring herd health, implementing disease prevention, monitoring feed programs and ensuring the cattle are achieving their optimal weight gains. This role requires problem solving and decision making skills to direct and monitor feedlot employees.
Duties
Oversee cattle health and nutrition protocols. Maintenance of feedlot infrastructure and equipment. Oversee regular cleaning and repairs to equipment. Daily operation of a variety of large farm equipment. Maintain daily accurate records on cattle inventory, health, feeding and performance.

Strong leadership and decision making skills problem solving skills Communication skills Cattle health and handling knowledge
Education, experience & requirements
Minimum 2-3 years of feedlot experience required. Management experience required. Experience operating farming equipment required. Drivers license and access to personal transportation required.
