Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing excellent customer service and a strong understanding of the food and beverage industry. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere, preparing and serving drinks, and ensuring that all patrons have an enjoyable experience.

Duties

Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers efficiently and accurately. Maintain knowledge of drink recipes, including classic cocktails and specialty drinks. Operate the POS system, including Micros POS, for order entry and payment processing. Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with patrons, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling practices. Manage inventory levels of bar supplies and communicate needs to management. Clean and maintain the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and equipment. Handle cash transactions accurately while adhering to cash handling procedures. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food orders when applicable.

Qualifications

Previous restaurant experience is preferred, particularly in a bartending or food service role. Strong time management skills to handle busy shifts effectively. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor. Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and making change. Knowledge of food safety standards and practices is essential. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Experience with POS systems, specifically Micros POS, is a plus.
