Duties

Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and food items according to established recipes and standards. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workspace, including equipment and utensils. Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers warmly and assisting them with their orders. Operate cash registers, process transactions accurately, and handle cash responsibly. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high standards of food handling practices. Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels and reporting any shortages or discrepancies. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service during peak hours. Engage with customers to create a welcoming environment and promote special offers or new products.

Requirements

Previous experience in the food industry is preferred, but not mandatory. Familiarity with cashiering processes and basic math skills for handling transactions accurately. Knowledge of food safety guidelines and food preparation techniques is a plus. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with customers. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy periods. Ability to work as part of a team while also being self-motivated when needed. Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights as required in the role. Must be willing to work on weekends
