Overview

Our Experience team has an exciting opportunity for an Experience Navigator to join their team. You\xe2\x80\x99ll help define and drive the future for WorkSafeBC products by establishing Stakeholder Experience guidance and leadership on projects and acting as a champion for modern, people-first, customer-led experiences.

At WorkSafeBC, we offer a hybrid work model that combines the convenience of working remotely with the dynamism of working in one of our offices, based on the operational needs of the position.

In this role, you\xe2\x80\x99ll work primarily from your B.C. home and occasionally in our Richmond office.

What you\'ll do

As an Experience Navigator you will:

  • Direct and apply learnings from user testing and existing research to provide recommendations for program enhancements and improvements
  • Advocate for the end user by influencing decisions to ensure that product and design decisions are aligned with user needs and expectations
  • Collaborate with the Experience team, UX design team and key stakeholders to develop a research approach and schedule
  • Develop both qualitative and quantitative user experience data gathering
  • Partner with project teams in managing research requests, collecting briefs, and prioritizing business questions

We\xe2\x80\x99re looking for someone who can:
  • Understand and define stakeholder needs through identifying user experience research opportunities, conducting quantitative and qualitative research, and analyzing and synthesizing data from multiple sources
  • Proactively seek out information in order to plan and organize work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment with competing priorities and shifting deadlines
  • Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, to prepare and present experience initiatives and research to senior management and other internal and external audiences of various sizes and interests
  • Build and maintain constructive and effective working relationships with a variety of individuals, stakeholders, and working groups to achieve required objectives

Your background and experience
  • A bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in a human behavior related field AND a certificate in Behavioural Insights
  • At least three years of user testing experience, preferably in a public sector environment, conducting the following:
  • Remote user experience research
  • User experience research using various methodologies such as focus groups, user testing, in-depth interviews, and more
