We are seeking a skilled and passionate Line Cook to join our culinary team. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in preparing high-quality meals that meet our standards of excellence. You will be responsible for executing menu items with precision and creativity while maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment. This position is ideal for individuals with a strong background in food preparation and cooking, particularly in fine dining or catering settings.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards. Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner while maintaining quality and presentation. Assist in menu planning and development, contributing creative ideas for seasonal dishes. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, adhering to food safety guidelines. Handle food safely and efficiently, ensuring proper storage and labeling of ingredients. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth service during peak hours. Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed. Participate in training new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety protocols.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Line Cook or in a similar role within the food industry. Strong culinary skills with experience in food preparation, cooking, and meal preparation. Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food handling. Fine dining experience is preferred but not mandatory; catering experience is a plus. Excellent knife skills and familiarity with various cooking techniques. Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality presentation of dishes. Previous restaurant or kitchen experience is highly desirable. A passion for cooking and creating exceptional dining experiences for guests.
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $16.00-$20.00 per hour
