We are seeking a motivated and experienced Shift Leader to oversee daily operations in a dynamic food service environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, excellent customer service abilities, and a solid understanding of food safety and hospitality standards. This role is vital in ensuring smooth shifts, maintaining high-quality service, and supporting team members to deliver an exceptional dining experience.

Duties

Supervise and coordinate team members during assigned shifts, ensuring efficient service delivery Manage POS systems, including Micros POS, for order processing and cash handling Oversee food preparation and serving processes to adhere to food safety and handling standards Assist with cashiering duties, including basic math calculations for transactions and cash handling Ensure compliance with food industry regulations and company policies Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries and resolving issues promptly Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area in accordance with health standards Support staff training on food safety, serving techniques, and POS operations Monitor inventory levels and communicate supply needs to management

Experience

Previous restaurant or food industry experience is highly preferred Familiarity with POS systems, especially Micros POS, is a plus Strong background in hospitality, serving, or food service roles Demonstrated ability in time management and multitasking in a fast-paced environment Excellent customer service skills with a professional demeanor Basic math skills for cashiering and cash handling tasks Knowledge of food safety protocols and proper food handling procedures Experience supervising or leading a team is advantageous but not required; leadership qualities are essential

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00-$17.50 per hour

Expected hours: 21 - 40 per week

Work Location: In person
