Under the supervision of the VP ADS, the Executive Producer plays a strategic role in maintaining an overview of all ADS VFX and Experiential projects. He/she will work closely with the management of the finance, HR, legal and business development departments. In collaboration with his/her team of producers, he/she will oversee the allocation of talent to projects, ensuring a good balance of experience and skills to meet the requirements of each project. A natural and proactive leader, he/she will ensure that operations are well managed and that the team is mobilized to achieve the organizational objectives of the ADS VFX and Experiential division. Main responsibilities:

  • Establish the structure, production resources and vision of his/her team in accordance with the company's strategic orientations and communicate the sector's financial and operational issues to the VP ADS;
  • Ensures the profitability and creative vision of assigned projects by communicating to the Producers and the VFX Supervisor all key information such as timelines, bidding history, delivery expectations, creative expectations and any other work done during the bidding process;
  • Participate in the budgeting of the ADS VFX and Experiential department and plan material and human requirements, ensuring that annual budgetary targets are met;
  • Management of the ADS VFX and Experiential Producers by conducting annual appraisals, dealing with disciplinary or performance issues, etc.
  • Follow up on project performance, including meeting deadlines, resource allocation, approval of overtime and ensuring projects meet Rodeo FX's quality standards.
  • Discuss any variances or issues with the relevant team and seek solutions to bring the project in on time and on budget. Determine when cost increases should be passed on to clients as per contract;
  • Oversee the billing of projects and ensure that it is done in accordance with the client's contract while verifying that revenues and gross margins meet expectations.
  • Represent Rodeo FX positively within the ADS VFX and Experiential community and related communities, both locally and in the international market, to enhance the company's reputation as an industry leader.


Qualifications
  • A university degree in a field relevant to the job or any equivalent relevant experience;
  • Minimum 10 years experience in advertising and/or interactive production;
  • Proficiency with computer tools in the MAC environment, such as Gsuite and the Office Suite;
  • Knowledge of Shotgrid and Monday project management tools;
  • Fluency in French and English, spoken and written;
  • Demonstrated team management skills;
  • Ability to build and maintain good client relationships;
  • Strong organizational skills and excellent priority management;
  • Attention to detail and rigour in the management of material and human resources;
  • Great ability to work under pressure;
  • Initiative, a strong sense of autonomy and resourcefulness;
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and changing environment;
  • Ability to solve problems and conflicts in an effective and constructive manner.
