About the Role
We are looking for a motivated and proactive Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our team in Canada.
This is a full-time, in-person position (37.5 hours per week) based at our company's designated office. The SDR will focus on identifying new business opportunities, nurturing relationships with educational institutions and clinics, and supporting the sales team with qualified leads.
The SDR will play a crucial role in expanding Playmove's presence in Canada by engaging prospects, presenting our solutions, and preparing the ground for successful customer onboarding.
Responsibilities
Research and identify new sales opportunities, with a focus on schools, clinics, and therapy centers.
Manage both inbound and outbound leads, ensuring timely responses and proactive outreach.
Conduct outbound calls and emails to initiate contact with prospects.
Qualify leads through discovery calls and structured needs assessments.
Book meetings and demos for the sales team, ensuring smooth handoff of qualified leads.
Collaborate closely with the marketing team to align campaigns and optimize outreach strategies.
Maintain accurate and updated records of all activities in the CRM system.
Follow up with prospects consistently throughout the sales cycle, including after events, webinars, and marketing campaigns.
Support the sales team in preparing presentations and proposals for clients.
Provide market feedback to sales and marketing to improve targeting and engagement strategies.
Requirements
Fluent in English (spoken and written), with strong professional communication skills.
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Education, or related field (or currently enrolled in a program).
Minimum 2 years of experience in sales, customer service, or business development.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Proficiency with CRM platforms and productivity tools (Google Workspace, MS Office).
Self-motivated, proactive, and comfortable working remotely with limited supervision.
Experience in EdTech, SaaS, or education sector is considered an asset.
