What You'll Do




As Executive Housekeeper, you will own the cleanliness, presentation, and operational success of the Housekeeping Department. You'll lead a motivated team, uphold Marriott brand standards, and drive key performance outcomes aligned with our balanced scorecard.


You will also participate actively in departmental strategy, ensuring seamless collaboration across the hotel and a consistently elevated guest experience.

Key Responsibilities



Leadership & Operations



Ensure the highest standards of cleanliness across guest rooms, public areas, back-of-house, and storage spaces. Conduct daily inspections and follow through on quality benchmarks. Prepare and manage daily work assignments, schedules, and staffing levels. Uphold a positive, team-first culture with clear communication, coaching, and accountability. Lead recruitment, onboarding, training, and continuous development for all housekeeping staff.

Service & Quality



Respond promptly to guest requests and feedback with professionalism and urgency. Maintain consistent communication with the General Manager through verbal and written reporting. Ensure proper use of PPE and adherence to health, safety, and sanitation standards.

Administration & Financial Oversight



Manage departmental budgeting, payroll administration, and cost controls. Maintain inventories and ensure efficient use of supplies, equipment, and uniforms. Oversee purchasing of cleaning products and ensure safe, effective use. Coordinate with Maintenance on deficiencies, follow-up items, and preventative upkeep. Oversee in-house laundry operations and contracted service providers.

Other Duties



Perform all additional tasks as assigned by the General Manager.

What You Bring



3-5 years of progressive housekeeping experience, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership role. Proven ability to shape team culture, develop talent, and build strong interdepartmental partnerships. Previous Marriott experience is an asset. Post-secondary education in Hospitality or a related field is an asset. Strong communication, organizational, and time-management skills. Ability to analyze trends, develop action plans, and execute with precision. Professionalism, energy, and a high level of ownership in all areas of the operation. Knowledge of cleaning products, purchasing, inventory management, and health and safety standards. Ability to stand, walk, lift, push, and pull up to 60 lbs and work in a physically demanding environment.

Physical Requirements



Constant standing and walking. Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling up to 60 lbs. Occasional ladder and overhead work. Frequent bending, kneeling, and repetitive motions.
