Key City Gymnastics Club (KCGC) is seeking a visionary and dynamic

Executive Director (ED)

to lead our organization into its next exciting chapter. Reporting directly to the Board of Directors, the ED plays a pivotal role in managing the club's operations, implementing strategic goals, and fostering a positive and inclusive environment for athletes, staff, and the broader community.

Key Responsibilities



Administrative & Financial Management



Lead day-to-day operations and long-term planning, including program development, risk management, IT systems, insurance, and facility needs. Prepare and manage comprehensive budgets in collaboration with staff, the Board, and the Treasurer. Monitor financial performance, cash flow, and reporting to ensure fiscal responsibility. Develop and submit successful grant applications and maintain stewardship of funding relationships. Oversee human resources, including staff management, policy development, and volunteer support. Foster a safe, healthy, and collaborative work environment aligned with current legislation and club policies. Provide strategic and administrative support to the Board of Directors.

Program Planning & Implementation



Collaborate with Head Coaches and Program Coordinators to ensure alignment with KCGC's vision and strategic plan.

Coordinate, monitor, and evaluate the delivery of programs and events. Develop new programming to support sport growth and community engagement. Organize special initiatives and training schedules in partnership with facilities.

Events & Technical Support



Maintain coaching records and liaise with the NCCP Locker. Update the competitive program handbook annually. Support the Events Director in volunteer coordination for competitions. Explore and implement technical innovations to enhance event delivery.

Communication & Marketing



Serve as an advocate and spokesperson for KCGC and the sport of gymnastics. Lead the development of strategic communication and marketing plans. Build strong relationships with athletes, families, coaches, volunteers, member clubs, and partner organizations. Liaise with Gymnastics Canada, Gym BC, and other relevant associations. Research and secure sponsorships and funding opportunities. Oversee promotional materials, website updates, and social media engagement.

Qualifications



Post-secondary education in business, sport management, or recreation. Minimum 5 years in a leadership role (preferably in sports administration). At least 3 years of experience in budgeting and financial management. Experience in the non-profit sector is an asset. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with Sage is a plus. Proven ability to work with volunteer boards and lead diverse teams. Excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills. Passion for building community and fostering positive culture.

Pay: $25.00-$40.00 per hour
