, we understand the immense toll that crime, tragedy, disaster, and traumatic situations can take on individuals and families. That is why we offer a range of crisis intervention services to support those affected. With a team of dedicated volunteer Crisis Responders, we provide immediate assistance to help victims cope with the impact of crime, tragedy, and trauma.
The Board of Directors is currently searching for a new
EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR.
This hands-on, detail-oriented leadership role is accountable to the Board of Directors for providing visionary leadership demonstrating integrity and accountability to achieve service and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead in accordance with the overall strategic direction of the Agency
Manage programs and oversee program development
Recruit, lead, coach, develop, and retain employees and volunteers
Ensure the Agency's consistent achievement of its vision, mission, and finance objectives in accordance with Board policies and all funding and legislative requirements
Ensure Policies, procedures and processes are developed, updated, and reviewed regularly
Oversee Agency finances, create annual budgets, maintain fiscal responsibility and oversee fund development
Identify, recommend, and implement organizational changes and technologies that improve processes, practices, and outcomes
Develop and maintain positive community relations and partnerships
Be available to support in crisis and be part of the on-call rotation
Qualifications:
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written
Demonstrated experience in negotiating, networking, and building relationships
Financial and Resource Management required
Proven leadership skills and ability to supervise and collaborate effectively
Strong organizational skills, demonstrated decision making and problem-solving skills
Strong computer skills and efficiency in all Microsoft programs
Experience working with (or in) a Board of Directors
Post-Secondary degree in a related field or equivalent experience
5 years of progressive Management and Leadership experience preferably in community social services and non-profit management
A valid Ontario (G) Driver's License and use of a personal vehicle, current Police Records Check & Vulnerable Position Screening
