Overview


We go by the name of Toronto Tikki Co, a brand new Indian street food concept going viral on social media & being loved by Chaat & Tikki lovers, are seeking a talented and experienced Executive Chef to lead our culinary team and oversee all kitchen operations. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food, exceptional leadership skills, and a strong background in restaurant management. As the Executive Chef, you will be responsible for already created recipes & SOPs following creating innovative menus, ensuring high-quality food preparation, and maintaining a positive work environment for kitchen staff.

Responsibilities



Follow recipes according to prescribed guidelines & measures Develop and design creative menus that reflect current food trends while meeting customer preferences. Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and training to ensure high standards of food preparation and presentation. Oversee daily kitchen operations, including inventory management, food safety compliance, and sanitation practices. Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction. Manage food costs and budgets while maintaining quality standards in the kitchen. Assist in hiring, training, and evaluating kitchen personnel to build a strong culinary team. Maintain relationships with suppliers to source high-quality ingredients for menu items. Ensure that all dishes are prepared according to recipes and specifications, maintaining consistency in taste and presentation.

Experience



Proven experience as an Executive Chef or in a similar role within the Indian food industry. Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, restaurant management practices, and kitchen operations. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and supervise a diverse team. Experience in menu planning, cost control, and inventory management. Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in the kitchen environment. Previous experience in bartending or managing beverage programs is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
