Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Executive Chef to oversee our culinary operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the kitchen staff, creating menus, and ensuring high-quality food production.
Duties:
- Plan and direct food preparation and culinary activities
- Create innovative menus and recipes
- Supervise kitchen staff and coordinate food orders
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations
- Manage inventory of ingredients and supplies
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
- Train and develop kitchen staff in culinary skills
- Collaborate with management to plan and execute special events
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef or similar role
- Strong knowledge of cooking techniques and kitchen equipment
- Excellent understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures
- Familiarity with food safety regulations
- Leadership skills to manage and motivate a team
- Ability to remain calm and make quick decisions in a fast-paced environment
