Inclusion and Belonging:
This newly formed department will focus on the continued implementation of Humber\xe2\x80\x99s EDI framework and the braiding of Indigenous ways of being, knowing, and doing into curricula, teaching practices, and operational and decision-making approaches.
This new area will provide input into planning, strategy, and vision and making recommendations to align decision-making with EDI best practices. Will create space for the entire community to take initiative in building a more inclusive community, together. What you will do:
In this exciting new role, the Executive Assistant to the Vice President, Inclusion and Belonging has a key role in providing confidential, operational, and executive level support to members of the executive team and will act in a chief of staff capacity. The Executive Assistant will use their well-developed organizational skills, sound judgement and discretion to perform high-level office management related tasks in support of the Vice President related portfolio but more importantly will provide strategic operational support and coordination for the Vice President\xe2\x80\x99s portfolio and projects. The Executive Assistant demonstrates a high degree of professionalism and balances competing priorities. In addition, the incumbent provides leadership for department functions, directs inquiries as appropriate and maintains effective communication and working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
