Job Description


POSITION OVERVIEW This position exists to lessen the amount of administrative tasks required of Bryan Wong, CEO. This position has diverse tasks, requests, skill requirements, and is suited to someone who is flexible, driven, and a leader. The ideal candidates should have experience in executive support and a strong commitment to ensure the success of the executive team.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide full spectrum of professional secretarial and administrative support to the CEO
  • Manage daily calendar, organizing and scheduling appointments and travels
  • Apply for licences, write and implement policies and procedures, create forms and create streamline ways to implement new procedures
  • Manage confidential information with discretion and maintain strict confidentiality
  • Create and use any training or tracking logs required by government or auditing body
  • Support the development and implementation of HR initiatives and systems
  • Handle end-to-end recruitment cycle in a timely manner, such as identifying recruitment needs, preparing job descriptions, sourcing talent via appropriate channels, managing the hiring process
  • Develop training and development programs
  • Maintain employee records according to policy and legal requirements
  • Review employment and working conditions to ensure legal compliance

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
  • High school diploma
  • 1 year of administration related work experience
  • Fluency in English
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • High flexibility, mature, stable and responsible
  • Experience in supporting a top management is an advantage
  • Class 5 Drivers Liscense is an asset

ADDITIONAL SKILLS, QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
  • Administrative qualifications (related degree, diploma, certificate)
  • Fluency in second language is an asset
