Executive Assistant, Legal

. This position is temporary and is expected to last approximately 12-18 months.

The opportunity:
Assisting with the organization of Board of Directors meetings and the preparation of related materials, including managing all Board and Committee meeting invites, and collaborating with various Canpotex Executive Assistants on document preparation deadlines and assisting with scheduling details.
Manages and assists with various administrative matters within the Legal and Corporate Affairs department, including scheduling and organizing meetings, managing calendars and coordinating travel, and annual budgeting (including tracking, monitoring, and managing expenses and invoices).
Prepares quarterly financial updates for Legal and Corporate Affairs to be presented to management.
Assists with the preparation, review, finalization, execution and delivery of various documents and letters required by Legal and Corporate Affairs, making certain they fall within the Canpotex corporate standards requirements.
Manages and maintains the electronic and paper legal files/documents management system and record retention processes within Legal and Corporate Affairs.
Coordinates department activities and events as needed.
You have:
Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Business, Legal Administration, Office Administration or a related field.
Minimum of two years of administrative assistant experience assisting at the senior or executive level. Legal administrative assistant experience is considered an asset.
Familiarity with basic legal concepts, procedures and terminologies.
You bring:
Demonstrated proficiency in technology, including expertise in Microsoft Office applications.
Ability to uphold the highest degree of ethics and integrity and maintain confidentiality.
Ability to organize workloads, set priorities, and complete assignments efficiently and within assigned deadlines.
