Providing administrative support to teams in the sectors concerned;
Drafting and preparing letters, news releases, minutes, presentations and other types of documents including briefs for various government agencies, as well as transcription and formatting of texts of various contracts and agreements;
Helping develop and organize corporate activities or events, corporate newsletter, etc.
Doing follow-up on files under his/her responsibility, and monitoring related timetables;
Coordinate vacations, absences, and/or leaves for employees in the sector
Updating files
Managing various reports & compilation of data
Other administrative duties as required
Qualifications
Diploma or university degree or other equivalent training;
More than 5 years of relevant experience in a similar position;
Proficiency in written and spoken English (French would be an asset);
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook);
A high degree of autonomy, initiative and interpersonal skills;
Courtesy and tact;
Organized, methodical, discreet, high level of confidentiality and professionalism in carrying out duties;
Ability to work under pressure and manage several files simultaneously;
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, strong organizational skills, detail oriented;
Work with minimal supervision and deal with people professionally, both internal and externally;
Efficient in working with Microsoft Office;
Ability to work in a flexible and changing environment.
