Role Overview

This is a hybrid Executive Assistant / Founder's Office role supporting the Founder of ASAN Group Inc. in day?to?day operations, client coordination, and basic accounting and tax tasks. The role is full?time, work?from?home in India, aligned to North American Eastern Standard Time (EST).[expertia +2]

Key Responsibilities

Manage Founder's calendar, appointments, meetings, and reminders; coordinate between time zones and ensure priorities are followed through.[linkedin +1] Handle emails, calls, WhatsApp and other client communication; draft professional responses and maintain a high standard of client service.[yesassistant +1] Assist in client onboarding, engagement letters, documentation follow?up, and maintaining CRM or tracking sheets for all active clients.[xyblueprint +1] Support day?to?day accounting and tax tasks: data entry, organizing working papers, downloading statements, reconciling basic data, and preparing files for review by the CPA team.[virtuallatinos +1] Coordinate compliance timelines (T1/T2, GST/HST, US/India filings, corporate deadlines), maintain trackers, and follow up with clients for pending information.[execviva +1] Assist with simple marketing tasks: coordinating social media posts, basic content formatting, updating website or profiles with provided content, and tracking leads.[yesassistant +1] Prepare and format reports, spreadsheets, presentations, and internal summaries for the Founder's meetings and reviews.[iimjobs +1] Maintain digital filing, organize drive folders, and ensure documents are properly named and accessible to the team.[invedus +1] Support special projects, internal process improvements, and any additional admin, coordination, or research tasks assigned by the Founder.[talent +1]
Desired Profile

Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field preferred.[geeksforgeeks +1] 1-3 years of experience in any of: accounting/tax assistant, executive assistant, virtual assistant, or back?office role in a CA/CPA or consulting firm is an advantage.[virtuallatinos +1] Basic working knowledge of accounting/tax concepts, Excel/Google Sheets, and comfort with learning new software (QuickBooks, cloud tools, CRMs, etc.).[invedus +1] Excellent written and spoken English; strong email drafting and documentation skills.[expertia +1] Strong ownership mindset, reliability, confidentiality, and ability to work independently during EST hours.[randstad +1] Organized, detail?oriented, with the ability to juggle multiple tasks and follow through without constant supervision.[talent +1]
Compensation and Work Conditions

Title: Executive Assistant - Founder's Office (Tax & Accounting Support). Location: Remote, India (home?based). Working hours: Full?time, aligned with Eastern Standard Time (EST) to support Canada/US operations.[talent] Compensation: Fixed monthly pay in the range of INR 16,000 to INR 25,000, depending on experience, skills, and fit, plus performance?based variable incentives.[levels +1]
