About the Position
• We are searching for a permanent •Executive Assistant, Consumer Escalations and Compliance• to join our Risk and Compliance team.
• PBC's compensation offerings are grounded in a pay-for-performance philosophy that recognizes exceptional individual and team performance. The typical hiring range for this position is $55,000 - $65,000 per year; the base pay offered is based on market and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity. The starting salary will be determined based on a combination of skills, education, and experience.

The Executive Assistant, Consumer Escalations and Compliance communicates on an ongoing basis with senior leaders, Board members, Union officials, and external agencies.
In this role, you would track KPI's and reporting of consumer complaint resolutions and tracking regulatory licensing requirements of staff.
You would be preparing executive and Board reports for the CCRO, and preparing forms, templates, presentations, proposals, reports and manuals for both of the area that this role works closely with.
In this role, you would be scheduling, managing, and attending and taking minutes at the Internal Risk Committee meetings.
This role oversees and monitors the status of open complaints, KPI attainment, adherence to policy and processes, best practices, industry regulations and guidelines and keeps executive leaders updated.
The Executive Assistant researches and compiles statistical data regarding resolutions of complaints and prepares presentations, and composes correspondence for the CCRO.
This role provides administrative support regarding the licensing requirements of PBC licensees and adherence to regulations and guidelines from the Provincial Insurance Council. Support includes tracking of licensees, supervisor, and nominee required activities to stay within compliance and then composing correspondence for the CCRO.
Key Experiences You Bring To This Role
• A minimum of 3 years' experience in the Life and P&C insurance industry or as an Executive Assistant
• Minimum of 1 year experience successfully managing sensitive or complex consumer escalations
• Demonstrated proficiency in MS Office software, including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Post-secondary coursework in an administrative program or relevant field (Business Administration, Commerce, Economics, etc.)
• Professional experience in customer service for Life and P&C insurance
• Experience using or developing Microsoft SharePoint sites
