Workforce Inc. is seeking skilled and experienced Heavy Equipment Operators to join our team, with a focus on Rock Truck, Excavator, Dozer, and Loader operations. As a Heavy Equipment Operator, you will play a crucial role in our construction and mining projects, operating various types of heavy machinery to perform essential tasks. Responsibilities:
  • Operate a Range of Heavy Equipment: Efficiently operate a variety of heavy machinery including Rock Trucks, Excavators, Dozers, and Loaders. You will be responsible for the safe and effective use of this equipment in performing a wide array of tasks across the job site. Previous experience on all equipment listed is an asset but not required.
  • Rock Truck Operations: Skillfully operate rock trucks to transport materials, ensuring safe and efficient loading, hauling, and dumping of heavy loads.
  • Excavator Operations: Perform digging, trenching, and material handling tasks using excavators. Your ability to maneuver the excavator accurately will be crucial for tasks such as site preparation, excavation, and backfilling.
  • Dozer Operations: Utilize bulldozers to perform digging, grading, leveling, land clearing tasks and moving of materials. Maintaining precise control of the dozer to achieve the desired outcomes.
  • Loader Operations: Operate loaders to move, lift, and load materials, ensuring that these tasks are completed with precision and safety.
  • Follow Project Plans and Specifications: Accurately interpret and execute tasks based on detailed project blueprints, plans, and specifications. Your attention to these details will ensure that all work is performed according to project requirements.
  • Conduct Routine Maintenance: Perform regular inspections and maintenance on all equipment, ensuring that machines are in optimal working condition. Address minor repairs and report any significant issues to maintenance teams to prevent operational delays.
  • Adhere to Safety Protocols: Maintain a strong commitment to safety by following all established safety guidelines and protocols. Your vigilance will help prevent accidents and contribute to a safe working environment for all team members.
  • Collaborate and Communicate Effectively: Work closely with other team members, supervisors, and project managers. Clear communication is essential for coordinating tasks, addressing challenges, and ensuring smooth operations on the job site.
  • Assist with Additional Construction Tasks: Be flexible and ready to assist with other construction-related duties as needed, contributing to the overall success of the project.
Requirements:
  • Proficiency in operating heavy equipment is required. Must have experience operating one or more of the following: Rock Truck, Excavator, Dozer and Loader
  • Strong mechanical knowledge and ability to troubleshoot equipment issues
  • Ability to read and interpret project plans and specifications
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
  • Physical stamina and ability to work in various weather conditions
  • Ability to sit or stand for long periods
  • Ability to work independently and be self-motivated
  • Team player, able to get along with a diverse group of people working towards a common goal
  • Must have \xe2\x80\x9cG\xe2\x80\x9d license
Schedule: 10 days on, 4 days off \xe2\x80\x93 12 hour shifts, days and nightsPay Rate: $28-38 per hour commensurate with experienceWe thank you for your interest.
