Job Description

Overview

We are seeking a skilled Mainline Excavator Operator, to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in heavy equipment operation and a commitment to safety and efficiency on the job site. As an Excavator Operator, you will be responsible for operating excavators and other heavy machinery to perform various tasks related to construction, excavation, and site preparation. This is an irrigation project.

Duties

Operate excavators and other heavy equipment such as backhoes, and loaders for digging, grading, and moving materials. Follow safety protocols and regulations while operating machinery on-site. Assist in site preparation by clearing debris and leveling ground as necessary. Trench, Lower pipe, backfilling

Requirements

Proven experience in heavy equipment operation, specifically with excavators. Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and perform basic repairs on machinery. Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team. Commitment to safety practices in all aspects of the job. Valid driver's license will be required to get to job location.
Job Type: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 5 months

Pay: $30.00-$40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 60 per week

Licence/Certification:

Class 5 Licence (preferred)
Work Location: In person
