Exam Administrators work together to provide proctoring for exams that occur outside the classroom setting. These include applicant exams, exams for students with disabilities, as well as online exams through a variety of platforms, including eProctoring. Working with diverse learners, especially learners with disabilities and learners with varying digital literacy skills, Exam Administrators use their exceptional interpersonal skill-sets, as well as their strong technical skills to provide supportive and responsive service. Testing Services values accessibility, universal design, inclusion, and removal of barriers in all that we do.
Reporting to the Manager, Academic Supports & Initiatives, this position works collaboratively with other Student Services teams and Faculty instructors in a campus-focused team environment. You will have the opportunity to strengthen your process-improvement skills and participate in team and college-wide professional development.
We are seeking qualified candidates for a

HOW YOU'LL MAKE A DIFFERENCE
Prepare exams: follow processes and guidelines based on exam type, learner requirements/accommodations, and program/instructor exam rules, eProctor vendor requirements, etc.
Schedule exam sessions: work with learners using relevant booking tools and processes.
Follow best practice standards while proctoring exams (online and in- person), to support a positive test-taker experience, academic integrity, and exam security.
Collaborate with team members and other college areas to create processes, use process-mapping tools, and participate/lead process-improvement initiatives.
Use various modalities to communicate and enhance learner experience, including creation of online learning objects (webpages and video tutorials).
Create an inclusive and supportive environment, both in-person and online, for diverse student needs.
Monitor the physical Test Centre space to ensure a safe, quiet, and welcoming environment.
Provide timely, and learner-centered troubleshooting/supports via multiple communication platforms.
Liaise with Accessibility Services, instructors, and other College Life service providers.
Create plans for final exams each term that include complex scheduling and preparation requirements.
Train casual staff and staff from other areas who are participating.
WHAT YOU BRING
Diploma required, preferably in administration or education. Bachelor's degree is considered an asset.
3-5 years of directly related experience working with diverse learners in an educational setting, especially those who have English as an additional language and those with disabilities.
Demonstrated experience working with multiple forms of technology (software, platforms, scheduling tools) and ability to learn new technology quickly.
Interpersonal and intercultural communication skill-sets, and ability to de-escalate challenging conversations, while working toward a solution.

One-year Term Position
: $1,890-$2,456 bi-weekly pay,
Casual postion:
$26.06 - $33.87 per hour plus 11.2% in lieu of vacation and benefits will apply. Pay is reflective upon what you bring AKA your education and experience. For more information regarding the AUPE Collective Agreement, please check out this link.
We offer flexible work options. This position has a requirement to be on campus 4 days per week with the option to work from home 1 day per week.
