Job Overview

G-Force is seeking a vigilant and dedicated Security Guard to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This role requires a proactive approach to surveillance, loss prevention, and emergency response. The Security Guard will monitor premises through CCTV systems and perform regular patrols to deter criminal activity.

Responsibilities

Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to maintain security of premises. Conduct regular patrols of the property to ensure safety and security. Utilize surveillance equipment, including CCTV, to observe activities within the facility. Respond promptly to alarms and emergency situations, taking appropriate action as necessary. Report any suspicious activities or incidents to management immediately. Assist in loss prevention efforts by identifying potential theft or breaches in security protocols. Maintain accurate logs of daily activities, incidents, and observations. Collaborate with law enforcement when necessary during investigations or emergencies.

Qualifications

Valid Ontario Security Guard Licence (Required)
Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or related fields is preferred

Strong understanding of surveillance techniques and loss prevention strategies Familiarity with CCTV systems and monitoring equipment is a plus Excellent observational skills with the ability to remain alert at all times Strong communication skills to effectively interact with staff and the public Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and efficiently Must be able to pass background checks as required by company policies.
